EDFAN Smooth Concrete is a slab set in situ, colored superficially with non-metallic hardening agents. The smooth finishing may be achieved mechanically, manually or both. EDFAN Smooth Pavement is applied by specially trained and qualified staff. The minimum layer recommended for EDFAN Smooth Concrete is of 5 cm if applied over existing slabs or cement substrates, and of 8 cm, when the substrate is compact calcrete for exclusive pedestrian use. EDFAN Smooth Concrete may be protected with water sealants, acrylic wax or acrylic sealant, which is suggested to increase its durability. EDFAN also applies chemical surface hardeners that increased the hardness of our Smooth Concrete.
